Reflections on another great year: 2018!

We have so much love and gratitude for our patients…thank you!

2018 was a great year for Functional Spine and Sport and it couldn’t have been done without our excellent patients!

You were ready to taking back your health, while understanding the importance of staying healthy and pain free. Your attitude and trust in us to deliver helped you achieve your goals!  You also wanted your family and friends to achieve their goals so your referrals should not go unmentioned. The greatest gift you can give someone else that’s been in pain for over 6 months is to share your success. Countless people suffer from chronic pain and are left hopeless. We give hope to those who have suffered long enough and want answers. Our doctors and staff are on a relentless pursuit to provide top-level conservative care for those who trust us with their health.

It was an exciting year as we saw our patients health improve with each visit to our office.

Their smiles were bigger as they witnessed their pain decrease and their function increase. That’s why we love what we do. Being able to help someone in pain who has become accustomed to it is no easy task. We are always up for the challenge. Taking the time to get the diagnosis right is the difference between failed or successful treatment plans. What do we treat most in our office? Adhesion. Why? Because it is arguably the most common reason for pain in the human body. In fact, adhesion is commonly misunderstood or ignored by other doctors and therapists. The vast majority of our patients have had pain for longer than a year, and have failed treatments with more than 3 other healthcare providers. That’s extremely concerning and why our doctors constantly train to deliver this cutting edge treatment day in and day out.

If you have a family member or friend who is in pain and have been to countless doctors with minimal pain relief tell them about adhesion.

It’s likely causing their pain and has been missed. Adhesion sticks tissues and nerves together leading to chronic tightness, weakness, pain, and degeneration. The good news is there are adhesion specialists all across the country who are dedicated to helping every patient that walk through their doors. They can be found at We care about your health and want only the best for you and your family.

If you know someone suffering from chronic pain and they live in the Chicagoland area, our office would be more than happy to help!
